Avonworth Girls Athletic Accociation (AGAA) Softball
Families, Players, and Coaches fortunate enough to live in the Avonworth communities understand our rich history of academics, sports, and excellence.
To support and develop the girls in this comminuty the Avonworth Girls Athletic Association (AGAA) formed to cater only to girls and their game - softball. The AGAA organization provides an environment where our players, learning & development, and fundamentals of softball would be in the spotlight. An organization where girls could get the same opportunity as anyone and answer only to themselves. AGAA gives girls a league to express themselves, grow, and have fun playing the great game of softball.

Hello AGGA softball parents and Guardians,
It is that time of year to think about the upcoming spring softball season. We appreciate everyone sharing the registration information with the families in our school district.
The registration and parent volunteer form is attached. Early registration is due by March 1st, 2012 along with the parent volunteer forms. We are looking forward to a great season, and most importantly, our girls having a great time and developing new skills at any level they are playing. As in any volunteer organization, we need the help and support of the parents to make it successful. It is very important to show your support for the girls and AGGA by indicating how you would like to help by filling out the parent volunteer form and returning it with the registration.
Lastly, the Avonworth High School team and coaches are planning to host fast pitch clinics sometime in February. These clinics were very helpful last year, and the girls that participated had a great time and learned many new fast pitch skills. Look for additional information and details on the clinic to follow sometime soon.

Open Gym & Pitching Clinic
Open Gym Softball Saturday Feb 4th from 2-4PM. Contact Amy Helffrich if you would like to use during this time.
Pitching Clinic Sunday 5th 10AM-12. Space still available. Email or Call Amy Helfrich ASAP if you would like to be there. It is a $7-10 dollar charge and a parent must be present to catch for their daughter.
Pitching Clinic Feb 6th from 7-9PM This clinic is full. I will be sending a confirmation out to those that are on the schedule. If a spot opens, I will take 1st person on waiting list for that evening.
Going forward we will have a pitching instructor on Sat 2-4, and Mondays 7-9, and Sunday will be open gym If all spots are filled in the 2 clinics, we will possibly add Sunday to the clinic schedule.
